Everything was good thanks to the care of the hotel staff! The parking lot directions were given by the e-mail in advance due to fully occupied lot next to the hotel, and the public paid parking was very close, and with a lot of parking slots. We had booked the standard room, but once in, my wife's very sensitive sense of smell had been disturbed by unknown moldy odor in the room, thus I asked the reception to change it if possible. As a matter of compensation for the unpleasant experience, we were given the Junior Suit, which was huge for our expectations, and also equipped with bathrobes and slippers, which were not available in the standard room. The dining in the hotel's restaurant was brilliant. Mr. Roberto, who was bartender in the lobby bar, and the waiter in the restaurant at the same time, had been treating us with all his heartwarming smile thus making us feel very welcomed. After enjoying the glass of the complimentary wine from the house winery (which I rated 3.9 at Vivino), we had lovely meals, but could not settle for desert. Check out was super-quick, and we left the hotel satisfied by our selection for one-night stay.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was exceptional, every time we entered we were greeted as if they knew us. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, beds and pillows were perfect. The breakfast was nice but different than a self serve breakfast buffet. They bring a beautiful charcuterie type board filled with high quality meats, fruits and cheeses and homemade yogurt with selection of dried fruit and nuts. Every table receives this, they then take your order for eggs, scrambled was perfect. The sweets corner was simple and adequate except for the whipped lemon herb marscapone which was fantastic. We decided to have breakfast again the second day, even though it wasn’t what we are used to, everything was such high quality. The gentleman working the breakfast room was very pleasant even when busy. They require a reserved breakfast time so everyone can be given the ultimate experience.

This hotel is a special one; an old royal palace that has been converted into a boutique hotel in the Marriott chain. The common areas were really pretty and unique, and we took advantage of our Marriott platinum status to upgrade our room, which was very spacious. We also requested the room with the best AC, as we had just spent a miserably hot night elsewhere before arriving. We did, in fact, get the room with the best AC and nearly froze all night. LOL! Breakfast was very nice, a special spread was brought to our table, rather than the typical buffet. The staff was great, and the location in the historic downtown was really great. We could set out walking from the front door and get lost in the unique town. We were able to walk to the El Greco Museum, and also to the cathedral.

The location of the hotel is perfect - a quiet square in the heart of the old city, an easy walk to the main tourist attractions. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention, they were so helpful and professional and they all seemed to speak excellent English. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didn't dine in the restaurant but breakfast was very good, and the bar area had great service and plenty of seating. We would certainly stay there again.

Very central location on quiet square. Arrived in Toledo on Saturday afternoon and city was super busy with lots of crowds. Stepping into hotel everything was instantly calm, comfortable, a lovely relief. Location two minute walk to Cathedral. Decor of whole hotel was very gracious, huge comfy bed, luxurious bathroom, all very quiet and calm. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast.
